“Frida” premiers at Solothurn Film Festival

Frida, an elderly woman, recounts the dramatic moment that changed her life forever. Without ever seeing her, just by hearing her voice talking over photos of her home decor, we embark on an intimate journey into the 1960s. The short portrait by Yvonne Pispico, edited by Bernie Forster, was named one of the festival director’s favorite films.

“Lungie - a true story” wins One World Award in Paris

After winning Gold in New York and Silver in Los Angeles, Bernie’s video (co-written & directed for Rotary Foundation about the inspiring story of a South African woman) wins the One World Award, sponsored and selected by the International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ). It honors a work that “best fosters world understanding”. The ceremony took place in Paris, at this year’s meeting of IQ.

“Device addiction” wins Gold in Cannes

Bernie’s video written & directed for Mettler Toledo’s new handheld densitometer wins its third award, this time in Cannes (France) at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards. The international jury has awarded 66 gold medals among more than 1000 entries from all over the world. “Device addiction” is a comic take on the multiple uses of Mettler Toledo’s densitometer.
